on the new wards based on the last local elections i have the labs on 14091 and cons on 13162 there however were 5 wards where tories did not stand and one where labour did not stand which makes it harder to say would win on new wards . i think lab win by 3000 to 4000 if there was an election today however i think the tories will try and get ravenhead and newstead wards (from new nottingham north) moved into this seat in exchange for st marys and killsick.

'1955-1974 Nottingham North' [Hucknall]

If this was the case, shouldn't the seat maybe have had a different name during this period as evidently it covered territory outside Nottingham itself? Rushcliffe had rather sprawling boundaries as well until about 1974.

Whilst 'easier' seats didn't fall, this one did.
Though it's only a 214 vote majority for Mark Spencer.

Demographically this is probably trending Conservative, but I think the swing they need is still a bit high. LAB HOLD
