Right – well, if it’s near Hucknall, my guess is that it was in Ashfield before 1983, and Broxtowe before the creation of that seat in 1955.
Nope, before being moved into the newly redrawn seat of Sherwood in was in Carlton (now Gedling).
In which case it would have been in Carlton from 1974-83 but Ashfield before that as Barnaby says (1955-74) and Broxtowe 1918-55. It would have been in Rushcliffe from 1885 to 1918.
It must be about time it changed constituency again
