Oh dear! The EDP seem to be out in force on this page – all 3 of them.
To AllChange, Peter Davies did not get 25k votes – he got 17k (has anyone pointed out to you we dont get 2nd preference votes in General Elections?) These 17k were spread across 3 seats – and as David Nettleton pointed out, voting is very different in national elections anyway.
To Fido, I am here to comment on all sorts of issues relevant to this election on a number of different boards – I have particularly commented on the 3 Donny boards because I live here, and some very dim partisan pro-EDP comments have been made here that needed countering. If you think that makes me partisan anti-EDP, so be it.
To BT, I have never been a member of the EDP and cannot imagine any reason why I would want to be. What a curious comment to make! Are you used to lots of people leaving with a “score to settle”? – doesnt sound like a very happy party to me.
These EDP types get very aggressive dont they?
Some Liberals do high pitched squeals through the market place when they see the EDP, sad but true.
No idea what AllChange is on about now.
Note to admins: Although AllChange has gone from misinformation to off-topic posting to blatant partisan propaganda and now to random insults I would rather he/she was not deleted.
I find the very poor image they are promoting of the EDP quite amusing.
Merely pointing out the deranged behaviour of a former Lib Dem council candidate and activist who started ranting in the Market Place and went into high pitched squeals which varied between shrill castrato to dramatic contralto, sometimes even guttural shouting that was witnessed by dozens of shoppers.
As he is a Lib Dem activist what conclusions can be drawn?
As voters are still undecided, and many people from different parties are getting similar feedback, it looks as though there will be a very large drop in the number of Labour votes (Labour activists are also reporting this), who will benefit is difficult to call at this stage with the media as ever having a strong input, though a recovery for Labour seems very unlikely.
As there seems to be so much interest in the Central constituency of Doncaster from various groups it is looking like a close one.
Well this opponent obviously really got to you AllChange. Is that how you respond to criticism in the English Democrats? You go on to public forums and ridicule them with this bullying attitude. This is miles worse than Gordon Brown and Mrs Duffy.
You have come onto this forum for polling and psephological discussion to make outlandish partisan comments, give incorrect information and now to come across frankly as a rather nasty piece of work. Are you aware how badly your attempt at party propaganda is going?
I have said I expect all 3 EDP candidates here to easily hold their deposits, probably come 4th, though they might slip into third, and I expect them to win some council seats – much more than their party is likely to achieve anywhere else.
I guess AllChange is one of their candidates. If he/she communicates as badly elsewhere as they do here, I would not expect anyone to vote for them
This individual worried shoppers and people going about their lawful activities and tried to intimidate people, we feel sorry for him, he needs help. No one would wish to bully him, he is simply obsessed with the EDP and this is obviously a serious psychological issue that the Lib Dems must be aware of.
You may see my comments as you like, some may agree with you others will not. That is the nature of such a board.
I give provenance for my comments you expect people to believe your comments based on your own sense of absolute superiority!
I have no reason to believe a word you say about anything. You have made false claims on this board before on issues that can be verified, so I assume this one that cannot is a lie. Now apparently anyone who disagrees with the EDP “needs help”.
Keep digging buddy. You are sounding worse with every post.
