This sort of thing often happens. School or college elections are apt to produce radically different results than the country, or even constituency, as a whole.

Must admit that I was astonished at the votes for Plaid – ONE and the Tory NINE when Aberconwy was supposed to be a Tory/Plaid marginal. Clearly Lib Dem Mike Priestley (FORTY NINE) is the one to beat. But still there’s many a slip…. Big Smiles later !

Wouldn’t Cymru Mark be better off counting Phil Edwards’ votes at the John Bright 6 Formers’ electon rather than the number of times various parties are mentioned in the Tory leaflet – mind you the Tory got 9 times more votes than Plaid Cymru !!

Possibly because Labour v Conservative is the UK media narrative? The fact that Labour get 75% of the coverage that Plaid rec’d in a local leaflet would indicate a Labour threat in my view.

How many mentions did Plaid get from the Cameron speech in Llandudno compared to Labour?

A couple of other points;

1. How did you enjoy your busy weekend?
2. Have you nothing better to do than read Conservative leaflets?
