    Nominations have now closed for the Police and Crime Commissioner elections in Suffolk which are taking place on Thursday 5 May 2016.
    The candidates for this year’s elections are; Terence Carter for Green Party, Helen Korfanty for Liberal Democrats, Tim Passmore for the Conservative and Unionist Party, Cath Pickles for Labour and Simon Tobin for UK Independence Party.

  8. A surprisingly close contest for the Cambridgeshire PCC, but the Conservatives held it from Labour by 81,581 to 72,480 votes in the second round.

    Turnout seems to be much higher than 2012 (not that that is saying much) and there was a 2.7% swing from Con to Lab from 2012.
